About us

Where We Are In Place And Time

The National Academy Trust, established in 1994, began with a vision to modernize and transform education in the Ramnad district, then considered an educationally underdeveloped region. Over the years, the Trust has expanded its reach and impact — from establishing a Matriculation Higher Secondary School to offering two prestigious national boards: CISCE and CBSE.

Today, as part of our continuing journey, we take the next significant step — introducing the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) to Ramnad. This marks a milestone in our timeline, adding a truly international dimension to learning in our community.

From our roots in local educational development to embracing global best practices, our story reflects progress, vision, and a commitment to providing learners with opportunities that prepare them for the world beyond borders.

Exploring Through Interactive Models

Learners were introduced to concepts in geography and environment through a creative classroom model activity. With their teacher guiding them, students observed, questioned, and discussed features of the model, sparking curiosity and building an understanding of how natural and human-made systems connect. This hands-on approach encouraged collaboration and critical thinking, making abstract ideas more tangible.

Learning From the Earth – Soil Exploration

Students engaged in a soil investigation activity, experiencing the texture and layers of soil up close. By observing and interacting directly with natural elements, learners developed an awareness of how the Earth sustains life. This inquiry-based learning experience helped them connect scientific knowledge with real-world relevance, while fostering a sense of care for the planet.
